How you move up to your goals

There’s more than one way

How does this statement make you feel?

Relaxed? Hey, that’s ok I don’t have to make a perfect choice.

Anxious? Agggh, choices, which one?

Looking at choices in an imaginary scene (or metaphor) can take some of the heat out of the decision. It can give you a chance to explore each option and then apply it to your real-world goal.

So, take the snowy ski scene.

Three lifts all lead up the mountain to your goal. There may be different mountain views, but they do all lead up.

Taking the cable car first.

Cable Car Option is more comfortable, sheltered from the elements, and needs less skill to use. You can take people with you on the ride. There may be a queue and so more of a wait before you can start moving.

What would this option feel like to move you towards your goal?

DRAG LIFT OPTION TO MOVE UP TO YOUR GOALS

Drag lift option may be more exposed to the elements, you’re on your own, and may take more skill to use. It may also be ready now and will get you there faster.

What does this option represent to you?

In a coaching session, we can explore these images.

Sometimes in an unexpected way, which can help you understand what’s going on in your thoughts.

From there, you can pick an action and plan which feels right for you, rather than one somebody else suggests.

There’s more than one way, play & find the one that feels fun for you.

You’ve got this!
